Peanut Butter & Chocolate No-Bake Cookies

2 Cups of sugar

1 stick of butter

¼ cup milk

⅓ cup coc½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

⅔ cup crunchy peanut butter

3 cups quick-cooking rolled oats

½ cup chopped peanuts

2 tsp vanilla extract

 

1. Place piece of wax paper or foil on a tray or cookie sheet. Combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa in a medium saucepan.

2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a rolling boil.

3. Remove from heat, cool 1 minute.

4. Add peanut butter and vanilla stir until mixed then add oats, chips, and peanuts.

5. Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto wax paper and form into cookies. Allow to cool completely.

Note: I made these in the microwave and they turned out just fine.

 

Heaven Sent Bacon Butterscotch Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • Cake

    • 5slices bacon, diced

    • 2cups Original Bisquick® mix

    • 1/3cup granulated sugar

    • 1/2teaspoon baking soda

    • 2/3cup buttermilk

    • 1egg

    • 1cup butterscotch chips

  • Streusel

    • 1/3cup Original Bisquick® mix

    • 1/3cup packed brown sugar

    • 2tablespoons cold butter, cut into cubes

  • Icing

    • 1cup powdered sugar, sifted

    • 2to 3 tablespoons milk

Directions

  • 1Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 9-inch cake pan with cooking spray.

  • 2Cook bacon in skillet until browned and fat is rendered, about 5 minutes. Remove bacon with slotted spoon, and place on paper towel to drain.

  • 3In large bowl, mix 2 cups Bisquick mix, the granulated sugar and baking soda. Add buttermilk and egg, and mix until just combined. Fold in the butterscotch chips and cooked bacon.

  • 4To make Streusel, in small bowl, mix 1/3 cup Bisquick mix and the brown sugar. Cut in cubed butter until roughly the size of small peas.

  • 5Spread batter in cake pan. Sprinkle with streusel. Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until golden and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, 45 to 60 minutes.

  • 6To make Icing, mix powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons milk. Add additional milk if necessary. Drizzle over cooled coffee cake.
