Ash Wednesday Begining of Lent

Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent occurring 46 days before Easter and serves as an invitation to a period of spiritual reflection. Observing Ash Wednesday can be a powerful experience. Through the use of ashes and candles, it connects us with our faith and awakens us spiritually to new life. With Ash Wednesday, comes the time to look internally and to grow spiritually by becoming more disciplined followers of Jesus Christ.
